Introduction:

Y.E.P main focus is to serve young adults in the community, assisting them to transition into independent competent individuals by providing real life paid work experience and career pathways. Before individuals are exposed to the real life of work, a mandatory 20 hour PAID training is completed. The training consist of Career Exploration and Planning, Resume Writing, Interviewing Skills, Workplace Skills, Financial Management, and Job Retention.

Qualifications:

  • Resident in the City of Hawaiian Gardens
  • ages 14-24
  • low income

If interested, please fill out the application and turn into City Hall.
Monday -Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. (Closed alternate Fridays)
