The Hawaiian Gardens Municipal Code (HGMC) is a book of all the laws that govern the City. The HGMC is amended from time to time by ordinances. A regular ordinance is introduced for the first reading, adopted at second reading and becomes effective 30-days after adoption. The ordinance is later codified and included in the HGMC supplement.
