PROJECT DESCRIPTION

Phase II of the Carson Street Beautification project will
consist of the upgrade of sidewalk, driveway, curb and
gutter, and curb ramps for ADA accessibility, new
monument wayfinding signs, bus shelters, landscaping,
hardscaping, pedestrian lighting, and asphalt grind and
overlay. The project will give this section of Carson
Street the beautiful upgrades as seen in Phase I.

CONSTRUCTION DATES

100 Working Days Beginning Late Summer/Early
Fall 2024

TRAFFIC CONSIDERATION

There may be temporary traffic lane closures and
modifications during the day; therefore, traffic
disruptions shall be expected. Please avoid the
area when possible.

PARKING

"No Parking" signs will be posted 72 hours in
advance to restrict parking in construction zones
as needed. Please adhere to the dates and hours
on the posted signs.

ADVANCED NOTICE

The contractor is to distribute two (2) ''Public Notice" to
each residence and business affected by the project.
The first notice shall be distributed ten (10) calendar
days prior to the start of any work. The second notice
shall be distributed at least seventy two (72) hours prior
to the start of work on a specific section of the street.

City of Hawaiian Gardens will be working with the
contractor to complete the project with minimum
inconvenience to you. Thank you for your cooperation.
