How do I…

  • Report an emergency or crime

    • For emergencies or crimes, please call 911.

    Pay for a parking citation

    • Parking citations can be paid online, by mail or in person. To pay online with a debit or credit card, click HERE.
    • To pay by mail, include your citation slip, with a check or money order in the exact amount and mail to:

    • To pay in person, include your citation slip with a check or money order and leave it in the secure drop box found at both entrances at City Hall. For further directions on how to pay at City Hall, please call (562) 420-2641.
  • Appeal a parking citation

    • To submit an appeal online, click HERE.
    • To submit an appeal in person, appeal forms are located on both City Hall entrance doors. Complete the application and leave it in the secure drop box at City Hall, or mail it to:

    • You may contest the citation in writing within 21 calendar days of the issued date of the citation.
  • Report a non-emergent problem

    • To report a non-emergent problem, call the Public Safety Center at (562) 496-1026 during business hours or (562) 332-0049 after hours. If your call is unanswered, please leave a detailed message with your name, contact info, and report so we may follow up.
  • Report an emergency or crime

    • For emergencies or crimes, please call 911.
  • Get information regarding trash pick up and street sweeping

  • Receive and file a Letter of Agency

    • If you are a business owner in the City of Hawaiian Gardens and would like to update or file a Letter of Agency with the City, please call the Public Safety Center at (562) 496-1026 for information.
  • Locate my vehicle if it was towed

    • Your vehicle was towed if it was parked for over 72 hours and received both a warning and subsequent citation, had registration expired over six months, or had 5 or more outstanding parking citations.
    • Please be advised that if the vehicle was towed for delinquent parking citations, you must pay all parking citations on the towed vehicle as well as all parking citations in your name owed on any other vehicle.
