Victor Farfan has been a resident of the city for the past 28 years. He is a graduate of Artesia High School and an award recipient of the Hawaiian Gardens Scholarship Fund. Upon graduation from high school, Victor attended Occidental College where he received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics.
As a resident of Hawaiian Gardens, he wants to give back to his community by working with the council in an active partnership with the residents to create a successful environment and provide residents a good quality of life. Victor is a strong advocate for children, hardworking families, the retired community and small businesses. He hopes to improve public safety by working closely with local law enforcement and furthering the support of after school programs. Creating educational opportunities for children, improving traffic low through the city and resolving housing issues faced by residents are Victor’s top priorities. In addition, Victor will work hard to ensure revenues received by the city continue to be used for the general benefit and improvement of the Hawaiian Gardens community. |
