Heat Warning. As we face a heat wave, here are some things to consider

Be Safe during the heat!

Go to a cooling center.

During the heatwave: Transportation is available to all seniors to the cooling centers and to a bus stop or nearby locations. CALL (562) 421-5921

During hot weather please be especially aware of:

  • Senior Citizens
  • People with medical conditions
  • People with disabilities
  • Infants and Young Children

Things to do:

  • Stay Hydrated (drink plenty of water)
  • Go to a cool place like the Library, City Recreation Centers, the Mall
  • Plan ahead by checking weather forecast
  • Check on neighbors and family members
