NOTICE OF INVITING SEALED BIDS FOR THE HELEN ROSAS CENTER WALKWAY REPLACEMENT PROJECT

Public Notice is hereby given that City of Hawaiian Gardens invites sealed bids pertaining to the item listed below:

SEALED BIDS DUE:
Wednesday, May 9, 2018

11:00 A.M., or soon thereafter.

 SEALED BIDS:   The City of Hawaiian Gardens invites sealed bids for the Helen Rosas Center Walkway Replacement Project located at 22150 Wardham Avenue, Hawaiian Gardens.  The City will receive such bids in the office of the City Clerk, 21815 Pioneer Boulevard, Hawaiian Gardens, California 90716, up to the hour of 11:00 a.m., on Wednesday, May 9, 2018 at which time they will be publicly opened.

PRE-BID MEETING: A non-mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday April 26, 2018 at 22150 Wardham Ave, Hawaiian Gardens to inspect the walkway and answer any project questions.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Remove existing quarry tile, base and floor sheathing at 2nd floor deck.  Install new tile floor over new plywood sheathing & mortar bed system.  Provide 5 new scuppers at existing framed wall.  The architect’s estimate is $81,650 and all work shall be completed within thirty (30) working days after the date of the “Notice to Proceed”.
