Residents age 14 - 24 may join the Earn and Learn Program

The City is now accepting applications for our Earn and Learn Program that will provide Hawaiian Gardens youth with paid work experience.   Below are highlights of the program.  Completed applications should be submitted at City Hall.
·        The program period runs  through November 30, 2017
·        The program is available to Hawaiian Gardens residents who qualify under one of the two eligibility categories;
     o   Cal Works: Ages 16-18 and if 19 must be in CalLEARN Program
     o    Non-CalWORKs Youth (Low Income) ages 14-24
·        All participants will receive a minimum of 100 hours of work experience and 20 hours of personal enrichment training
·        Participants will be paid $12.00 per hour
